AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of resolution for the 2025 FamilyFest
Inflatable Contract with Midwest Inflatables, LLC.
FORMAT:Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The Parks & Recreation Department is working with
Midwest Inflatables, LLC to provide inflatables at the 2025 FamilyFest
event. The agreement with Midwest Inflatables, LLC is in the amount of
$2,850.00 for the inflatables is in the FY25 budget for the event. Staff
recommend approval of the agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $2,850.00
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: Park Board has reviewed and
approved moving forward with this agreement on 10/17/24.
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT:
RECOMMENDATION: Approve Agreement.

RESOLUTION 2024-
APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH MIDWEST INFLATABLES, LLC
[2025 WAUKEE FAMILYFEST EVENT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee Parks & Recreation Department wishes to engage the
services of a contractor for inflatables at the 2025 FamilyFest Event; AND,
WHEREAS, Midwest Inflatables, LLC, of Ames, IA, has provided an Inflatable Agreement
for such services at Waukee’s 2025 FamilyFest Event.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the
FamilyFest Event inflatable agreement held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 [Waukee Parks &
Recreation Department] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this 4th day of
November, 2024.
