AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Warranty Deed from AP
GPP, LC [SE Kettlestone Boulevard]
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: In 2020, the City Council approved construction plans for
an extension of SE Kettlestone Boulevard that is associated with the Ashworth
West Plat 1. The developers have completed the extension of SE Kettlestone
Boulevard west of Grand Prairie Parkway. For the City to take over ownership
of the right-of-way, the property needs to be deeded to the City.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of the resolution

RESOLUTION 2024-
APPROVING WARRANTY DEED WITH AP GPP, LC [SE KETTLESTONE
BOULEVARD]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City approved construction plans for SE Kettlestone Boulevard which included
the extension of SE Kettlestone Boulevard; AND,
WHEREAS, as a part of the improvements, a portion of SE Kettlestone Boulevard was required to
be extended over property owned by AP GPP, LC.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, that
the warranty deed for the extension of SE Kettlestone Boulevard over and across property owned
by AP GPP, LC be approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 4th day of
November, 2024.
