FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The original agreement for professional services did not
include construction administration. Amendment No. 1 outlines the proposal
anticipated to provide construction administration services for this project.
These services will involve shop drawing and submittal review, periodic site
visits and observations as requested by City, review and approval of change
orders and payment requests, and project close out.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: Not to exceed $9,500.

RESOLUTION 2024-
APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL
CONSULTING SERVICES WITH I+S GROUP, INC. [RIDGE POINTE PARK
PARKING LOT RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, on June 17, 2024, the Waukee City Council approved an Agreement for
Professional Consulting Services with I+S Group, Inc., for engineering services and management
of the bidding process for the Ridge Pointe Park Parking Lot Reconstruction Project (Resolution
#2024-247); AND,
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 is proposed for construction administration services for the
project, including shop drawing and submittal review, periodic site visits and observations as
requested by the City, review and approval of change orders and payment estimates, and project
close-out services;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that
Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Professional Consulting Services with I+S Group, Inc.
[Ridge Pointe Park Parking Lot Reconstruction Project] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 16th day of
December, 2024.

As the City of Waukee, Iowa seeks to reconstruct the Ridge Pointe parking lot,
I+S Group, Inc. (ISG) stands eager and ready to assist. ISG proposes the following
amendment to the scope of services within the Original Agreement as follows.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Construction Administration
This proposal anticipates that ISG will provide construction administration services for
this project. These services will involve shop drawing and submittal review, periodic site
visits and observations as requested by City, review and approval of change orders and
payment requests, and project close-out activities, including a site walk-through and
preparation of a final punch list.
COMPENSATION
ISG proposes to provide the scope of work described within this proposal for
compensation on a time and materials basis, with a total not to be exceed $9,500.
Anticipated reimbursable expenses such as travel, mileage, and printing are included.
ISG appreciates the opportunity to provide a solution tailored to the needs of the
City of Waukee. Upon acceptance of this proposal, please sign the acknowledgment
