The proposed transfer to the Des Moines Metropolitan Wastewater Reclamation Authority is being undertaken pursuant to a 28E Agreement entered into between the City of Waukee and the Des Moines Metropolitan Wastewater Reclamation Authority, which was approved by the City on June 27, 2016. The 28E Agreement concerning the transfer is available for viewing at the Clerk’s Office at the Waukee City Hall located at 230 W. Hickman Road in the City of Waukee, Iowa. Published with this Notice is the legal description of the property the permanent sanitary sewer easements are located upon. The property and easements are both being considered for transfer and assignment which of the Waukee City Council will consider at the public hearing referenced above.
