THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2025-
APPROVING THE MAYOR’S APPOINTMENT OF CITY ATTORNEY
FOR 2025
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa, is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, the Waukee City Council must appoint the position of City Attorney
annually; AND,
WHEREAS, the law firm of Brick, Gentry, Bowers, Swartz & Levis, P.C., hereinafter
known as Brick Gentry Law Firm, was first appointed as City Attorney by the City
Council on June 6, 2005 (Resolution #05-90); AND,
WHEREAS, the Brick Gentry Law Firm has proven to be an excellent partner with and
resource for the City of Waukee in all necessary aspects of the legal system;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Waukee, Iowa on
this 6th day of January, 2025, does hereby approve the appointment of Brick Gentry Law
Firm as City Attorney for 2025.
