SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The City of Waukee requests an amendment to custodial services at the Public
Safety Building, Police Station. The current services provider Stratus Building
Services has provided an amended price of $1017.83 per month to provide
restroom and locker room cleaning for an additional three days per week.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
The additional cost for these services of $422 per month will be billed to
Public Safety Building Police Department and is within the funds budgeted
for custodial services at that location.

RESOLUTION 2025-
APPROVING AMENDED SERVICE PROVIDER AGREEMENT WITH
STRATUS BUILDING SOLUTIONS [CUSTODIAL SERVICES]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, on October 7, 2024, the Waukee City Council approved a Service Provider
Agreement with Stratus Building Solutions for custodial services at certain City of Waukee
facilities (Resolution #2024-428) AND,
WHEREAS, the Waukee Police Department requests additional cleaning services at their
facility for $422.00 per month more than agreed upon in the original Service Provider
Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Amended Service Provider Agreement with Stratus Building Solutions [Custodial Services] is
hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved on the 20th day of
January, 2025.
