AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Agreement between the
City of Waukee, Iowa, and Iowa Sound LC in the amount not to exceed
$6,955.00.
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The agreement between the City of Waukee, Iowa, and
Iowa Sound LC is for the sound, lighting and stage for the bands during the
Waukee Independence Day Celebration. This agreement includes the setup,
teardown and operation of lights and sound during the event.

APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH IOWA SOUND LC FOR THE 2025
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION [WAUKEE PARKS & RECREATION
DEPARTMENT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee Parks & Recreation Department wishes to engage the
services with Iowa Sound LC for the stage, lights and sound during the 2025 Independence
Day Celebration Event; AND,
WHEREAS, Iowa Sound LC., has provided an agreement for such services at Waukee’s
2025 Independence Day Celebration.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the
2025 Independence Day stage, sound and lights agreement held on July 4, 2025 [Waukee
Parks & Recreation Department] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this 3rd day of
February, 2025.
