SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The gas installer provided the per hour cost for a medium
size trencher resulting in the need for a revision of the schedule of fees. Including this equipment rate
will allow staff to accurately determine gas main extension costs for private developments and city
capital projects.

RESOLUTION 2025 -
ADOPTING THE CITY OF WAUKEE 2025 FEE SCHEDULE, REVISION NO. 1
[GAS CHARGES, EQUIPMENT RATES (PER HOUR)]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, on December 16, 2024, the Waukee City Council approved the City of Waukee
2025 Fee Schedule (Resolution #2024-543); AND,
WHEREAS, revisions are proposed to the 2025 Fee Schedule to update gas main installation
equipment pricing as shown in Exhibit A, which is attached.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
3rd day of February, 2025, that the City of Waukee 2025 Fee Schedule, Revision No. 1 [Gas
Charges, Equipment Rates (Per Hour)], is hereby approved and shall be in effect immediately.
