SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The City of Waukee sought proposals for mowing and turf maintenance at the
Waukee Cemetery located at 1055 6th Street in Waukee Iowa. Eight proposals
were submitted for consideration. The most responsive bidder for the most
advantageous price was MB Turf Care of Urbandale Iowa.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
The cost for these services for the 2025 season (April 2025 through November
2025) is $24,180.

IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WAUKEE, IOWA:
That the following quote for certain public improvements described in general as [2025
Waukee Cemetery Mowing and Turf Maintenance Services and described in the Request for
Quotes that was provided to vendors be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest
responsible quote received for such work, as follows:
Contractor: MB Turf Care of Urbandale, IA
Amount of quote: $24,180.00
