SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: This is a farm lease for the City’s property on the west side
of NW 10th Street, north of NW MacArthur Drive (14.69 acres) with a duration of one year starting on
March 1, 2025 and terminating on March 1, 2026.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: Total annual rent $3,672.50 due
on November 1, 2025.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.

RESOLUTION 2025-
APPROVING FARM LEASE – FIXED CASH RENT
[BOB MANNING]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the farm lease is for a portion of the City’s property on the west side of NW 10th
Street, north of NW MacArthur Drive (14.69 acres) with a duration of one year starting on March
1, 2025 and terminating on March 1, 2026.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the
Farm Lease – Fixed Cash Rent is hereby approved, and the Mayor and the City Clerk are
authorized to execute the Agreement for and on behalf of the City.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 17th day of
March, 2025.
