RESOLUTION 2025-151
APPROVING TEMPORARY PARKING REQUEST ON PARCEL 23-34 [HOLMES
MURPHY]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, Holmes Murphy has an existing office building located at 2727 Grand Prairie Parkway
where during the summer months the existing employee parking area is exhausted due to the number
of seasonal interns that are employed; AND,
WHEREAS, Holmes Murphy requests permission to construct a temporary parking lot on
undeveloped property [Parcel 23-34] located directly east of 2727 Grand Prairie Parkway for a period
not to exceed ninety (180) days from date of installation.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 17t`
day of March, 2025, that it hereby approves temporary parking on the property located upon Parcel 23-
34 for a period not to exceed one hundred eighty days (180) days from the date of installation.
