SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The 2025 Fee Schedule requires some minor revisions to
reflect recently adopted amendments to Waukee Municipal Code Chapter 122, Peddlers and Solicitors.

RESOLUTION 2025-
ADOPTING THE CITY OF WAUKEE 2025 FEE SCHEDULE, REVISION NO. 2
[PEDDLER, SOLICITOR PERMIT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, on December 16, 2024, the Waukee City Council approved the City of Waukee
2025 Fee Schedule (Resolution #2024-543); AND,
WHEREAS, on February 3, 2025, the Waukee City Council Approved Revision No. 1 to the
2025 Fee Schedule (Resolution #2025-075); AND,
WHEREAS, revisions are proposed to the 2025 Fee Schedule to update fees associated with
peddler and solicitor permits as follows:
Peddler, Solicitor License (all fees per applicant)
Application fee (non-refundable) $5.00
License fee
$10.00 per one-day license
$50.00 per one-week license (7 contiguous days)
$150.00 per 30-day license
$300.00 per 90-day license
Bond/Deposit
$100.00, eligible for refund 30 days after expiration
of license
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
7th day of April, 2025, that the City of Waukee 2025 Fee Schedule, Revision No. 2 [Peddler,
Solicitor Permit], is hereby approved and shall be in effect immediately.
