RESOLUTION 2025-186
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF NW CONCORD LANE FROM ITS
TERMINUS WITH NW BULL RUN COURT SOUTH TO ITS TERMINUS WITH
NW YORKTOWN DRIVE ON THURSDAY, JULY 17, 2025, BETWEEN THE HOURS
OF 12:00 P.M. AND 6:00 P.M. FOR THE PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK
PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, a representative of D.R. Horton requests a temporary street closing for the purpose
of a neighborhood block party; AND,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Code of Iowa §364.12(2)(a), public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
51h day of May, 2025, that it hereby approves the temporary closing of NW Concord Lane from
its terminus with NW Bull Run Court south to its terminus with NW Yorktown Drive on
Thursday, July 17, 2025, between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p. f the purpose of a
neighborhood block party.
