AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of a resolution ordering construction of Little
Walnut Creek Drive Water Main Improvements Project and fixing a date
for hearing thereon and taking of bids therefor.

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The Little Walnut Creek Drive Water Main
Improvements includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for approximately 2,600
linear feet of 8 inch water main primarily directional bored in place, hydrants, valves, fittings,
connections to the existing system, service reconnections, surface restoration and
miscellaneous associated work, including cleanup.
The Little Walnut Creek Drive Water Main Improvements will be located along segments of
NW Prairie Rose Lane and Little Walnut Creek Drive.
The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans,
Specifications, Form of Contract and Estimate of Costs for the construction of the above
referenced public improvements at 5:30 p.m. on June 16, 2025.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, PROPOSED FORM OF CONTRACT
AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE LITTLE WALNUT CREEK DRIVE WATER
MAIN IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT FOR THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA.
The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans,
Specifications, Form of Contract and Estimate of Costs for the construction of the above
referenced public improvements at 5:30 p.m. on June 16, 2025. At said hearing, any interested
person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements. The work to
be done is as follows:

In accordance with Iowa Code Sections 21.4(1)(b) and 21.8, this meeting of the Waukee City
Council will be conducted with two different options for public participation: 1) Members of the
public wishing to attend in person may do so in the Council Chambers at Waukee City Hall. 2)
