The resolution mistakenly identified June 10, 2025 instead of the correct intended date of June 11, 2025, which constitutes a scrivener’s error that should be corrected. FOR TAKING OF BIDS FOR THE LITTLE WALNUT CREEK DRIVE WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, on May 19, 2025, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2025-208 ordering construction of the Little Walnut Creek Drive Water Main Improvements and fixing a date for hearing thereon and taking of bids therefore; and WHEREAS, said resolution included the date, June 10, 2025 at 2:00 P.M., as the date and time for taking of bids; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2025-2028 mistakenly identified June 10, 2025 instead of the correct intended date of June 11, 2025, which constitutes a scrivener’s error that should be corrected. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, STATE OF IOWA: Section 1. That the second paragraph of Section 2 in the body of Resolution 2025-208 is hereby repealed and replaced as follows: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and is hereby directed to post a notice to bidders once in a relevant contractor plan room service with statewide circulation and a relevant construction lead generating service with statewide circulation and on an internet site sponsored by either the City or a statewide association that represents the City. Posting shall be not less than thirteen clear days nor more than forty-five days prior to June 11, 2025, which is hereby fixed as the date for receiving bids. The bids are to be filed prior to 2:00 P.M., on such date. Section 2. That all other provisions of Resolution No. 2025-208 adopted by this Council on May 19, 2025 shall remain unchanged as approved final action of the Council, and all actions of the City Clerk and City Administrator related to the bid letting date of June 11, 2025 are hereby ratified, confirmed and approved.
