STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Kirkham Michael has reviewed the Centennial Parking Lot
and Loop Road Project and find that the work performed is in substantial
accordance with the plans and specifications, and that the final amount of the
Contract is $353,821.75
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.

RESOLUTION 2025-
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CENTENNIAL PARK
PARKING & ROAD PAVING
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of October, 2024, the Mayor and Clerk of the City of Waukee,
Iowa, entered into a construction contract with InRoads, LLC, of Des Moines, IA, for the
construction of certain public improvements generally described as the Centennial Park Parking
& Road Paving; and
WHEREAS, the contractor has fully completed the construction of the public
improvements in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and plans and
specifications, as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on June 11, 2025:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WAUKEE, STATE OF IOWA:
Section 1.That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and adopted,
and the public improvements are hereby approved and accepted as having been fully completed in
accordance with the plans, specifications and form of contract and the total final construction cost
thereof is hereby determined to be $353,821.75, as shown in the report of the Engineer.

This is to certify that the construction improvements on Centennial Park Parking
& Road Paving project have been completed in substantial conformance with the
plans and specifications for the project. The final contract amount is $353,821.75.
