AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of Change Order No. 4 to Absolute Group for
the Prairie Rose Trail Project, increasing the contract in the amount of
$1,650.00.
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Change Order No. 4 is for adding end of road signs
on NW Sunrise Drive to the project.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The net result of this
Change Order increases the contract price by the amount of $1,650.00.

PRAIRIE ROSE TRAIL
Dear Sara:
Enclosed is partial payment application 087 for the Prairie Rose Trail project. The application
includes work completed April 1, 2025 through May 31, 2025. Work includes shared use path
pavement, finish grading and tree planting. Change Order 4 for adding end of road signs on
Sunrise Drive was added to the project.
We recommend approval of Change Order 4 for $1,650.00. Please place this change order on
the next available city council meeting agenda for approval.
We recommend payment of $74,630.48 to the prime contractor, Absolute Group of Granger,
Iowa. Please place this payment application on the next available city council meeting agenda for
approval.
