FORMAT:Consent Agenda SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Iowa Signal, Inc. requested Payment Estimate No. 4 release of retainage for the work completed on the Traffic Signal Enhancements, Waukee School & Trail Crossing Improvements project in the amount of $29,383.13. Snyder & Associates has reviewed the payment estimate and recommends payment. The release of retainage is for the completion of work throughout the city for the Traffic Signal Enhancements, Waukee School & Trail Crossing Improvements Project. The final walk-through has been completed for this project and the City previously paid Iowa Signal for all contract and change order items, less retainage. This payment releases that retainage. The final walkthrough has been completed for the project, and it is recommended that the projected be accepted at this time. The City previously paid Iowa Signal for all contract and change order items, less retainage. This payment application releases that retainage. Attached is the final payment application for the project. The project utilized 3% retainage, per the Iowa DOT’s maximum, which totaled $29,383.13. We recommend releasing the retainage to the contractor, Iowa Signal, Inc, 30 days after acceptance of the project and this payment application. This represents 100% of the total project cost.
