The engineer’s estimate for the project was $1,185,251.00. The apparent low bid was submitted by Holzworth Construction LLC., of West Des Moines, Iowa for $630,797.60. This bid is approximately 47% below the engineer’s estimate. Staff recommend awarding the project to Holzworth Construction LLC., of West Des Moines, Iowa for $630,797.60.
