RECOMMENDATION: City staff recommends approving contract and bond with Howser
Concrete Unlimited of Urbandale IA, in the amount of $145,678.00.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2025-
APPROVING CONTRACT AND BOND [2025 PAVEMENT PATCHING PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, Howser Concrete Unlimited proposes to furnish all material, labor, equipment, for
the 2025 Pavement Patching Project; AND,
WHEREAS, this project is for certain public improvements described in general as the 2025
Pavement Project Patching Project. Improvements will take place on NE Carefree Lane between
E Hickman Road and NE Venture Drive; SE Laurel Street between S Warrior Lane and SE Brick
Drive; and SE Olson Drive between SE Boone Drive and SE Westwoods Drive AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the City of
Waukee hereby approves the contract and bond from Howser Concrete Unlimited [2025
Pavement Patching Project].
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 4th day of August,
2025.
