PROCLAMATION
OF OCTOBER 5, 2025, AS
WAYPOINT RESOURCES “LOVE TO SERVE” DAY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, WayPoint Resources, an organization that has become a
cornerstone in Waukee and beyond, is celebrating 20 years of service; AND,
WHEREAS, what makes WayPoint Resources special is more than the food,
clothing or health care services they provide, but how they do it; AND,
WHEREAS, their motto of “Love to Serve” shows how they serve with dignity,
treating every neighbor with respect and compassion; AND,
WHEREAS, WayPoint Resources knows that service is more than a duty – it’s
love in action, rolled-up sleeves and hearts ready to care; AND,
WHEREAS, they are proof that when volunteers, donors, partners and
neighbors come together as a community, we are all stronger, healthier and more
connected; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee proudly recognizes WayPoint Resources for
two decades of putting love into action through service.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Courtney Clarke, Mayor of Waukee, do hereby
proclaim October 5, 2025, as
WAYPOINT RESOURCES “LOVE TO SERVE” DAY
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have
hereunto subscribed my name and caused the
Great Seal of the City of Waukee to be affixed this
September 15, 2025.
