AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of a motion approving 5-day Special Class C
Retail Alcohol License with Outdoor Service privilege beginning
September 25, 2025, for St. Boniface Church of Waukee, d/b/a St.
Boniface Church of Waukee Bonifest [1200 S. Warrior Lane], pending
proof of dram insurance
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: St. Boniface Church will be providing drinks as part
of the annual Bonifest event.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Police, Fire and Community Development Departments
have reviewed the application and find no reason to deny the permit at
this time, pending proof of dram insurance.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the liquor license, pending proof of dram insurance.
