SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The City of Waukee sought proposals to replace the windows at the Sugar
Creek Golf Course clubhouse. The windows are in poor condition and there
are areas of damage due to water infiltration. The contractor selected for this
project is All Iowa Roofing.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
The proposed cost for this project is $15,400 with an additional estimate of
$850 to repair a section of water damaged wall. Final cost for repairs will be
determined after selective demolition of the damaged area(s).The Parks
Department has $30,000 in the FY26 budget for this project.

AWARDING QUOTE FOR SUGAR CREEK MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE
CLUBHOUSE WINDOW REPLACEMENT PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WAUKEE, IOWA:
That the following quote for certain public improvements described in general as Sugar
Creek Municipal Golf Course Clubhouse Window Replacement Project and described in the
Request for Quotes that was provided to vendors be and is hereby accepted, the same being the
lowest responsible quote received for such work, as follows:
Contractor: All Iowa Roofing of Des Moines, IA
Amount of quote: $15,400.00 with an additional $850.00 for wall repair
PASSED AND APPROVED this 15th day of September, 2025.
