RESOLUTION 2025-455
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES WITH
FOTH INFRASTRUCTURE AND ENVIRONMENT, LLC
[6TH STREET FUNCTIONAL DESIGN AND TRAFFIC STUDY,
I-80 TO ASHWORTH ROAD]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City desires to retain the consultant services of Foth Infrastructure and
Environment, LLC for the 6th Street Functional Design and Traffic Study, I-80 to Ashworth
Road; AND,
WHEREAS, the scope of services includes a traffic study for approximately 2,300 acres of
undeveloped land bound to the west by S Avenue, the south by Interstate 80, the east by the
current edge of developed land within City of Waukee limits, and to the north by Sugar Creek.
The analysis will be completed for the planning of future roadway cross sections of Prairie Bluff
Drive west of 6th Street, 6th Street from I-80 to Ashworth Road, and Ashworth Road from the
future western City limits to 6th Street. Included with the scope of work is the functional
roadway design for 6th Street from I-80 to Ashworth Road; AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Professional Consulting Services between Foth Infrastructure and Environment,
LLC and the City of Waukee, Iowa [6th Street Functional Design and Traffic Study, I-80 to
Ashworth Road] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 3rd day of November,
2025.
