THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2025-
RECOGNIZING THE SERVICE OF CITY OF WAUKEE
COUNCIL MEMBER BEN SINCLAIR
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa, is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, Ben Sinclair has served as a Waukee City Council Member since February 2020; AND,
WHEREAS, during his tenure, Ben has played a vital leadership role in a period of tremendous
growth and progress in the community, including significant population increases, record-breaking
building permit and valuation statistics, and substantial city infrastructure improvements; AND,
WHEREAS, he has also helped guide the positive development of Waukee through active
participation in annual strategic planning and goal setting; AND,
WHEREAS, as a Waukee City Council Member, Ben is most proud of the amazing and innovative
parks built over the last few years, the opening of public and private amenities that residents have been
asking about for years, the City’s sound fiscal operations, lowering the property tax levy almost every
year, and moving forward for Waukee to become a Tree City USA; AND,
WHEREAS, Ben’s willingness to serve on the Waukee City Council and his commitment to the
betterment of Waukee for all its residents is an outstanding example of public service.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 15th
day of December, 2025, that its members hereby express their sincere appreciation and thanks to Ben
Sinclair for his years of dedicated service as a Waukee City Council Member.
