RESOLUTION 2020-124
APPROVING WATER QUALITY INITIATIVE COST -SHARE GRANT CONTRACT
BETWEEN IOWA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND LAND
STEWARDSHIP AND THE CITY OF WAUKEE
[WAUKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY STORMWATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. URBAN20WQI-0061
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) has
awarded $100,000.00 to the City of Waukee as part of the Water Quality Initiative Program
for the Waukee Public Library Stormwater Improvement Project; AND,
WHEREAS, IDALS has provided a Cost -Share Grant Contract relative to this grant award.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 6 h day of April, 2020, that a Water Quality Initiative Cost -Share Grant Contract between
Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship and the City of Waukee [Waukee
Public Library Stormwater Improvement Project, Contract No. Urban20WQI-006] is hereby
approved and accepted.
