RESOLUTION 2026-020
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF THE REPRESENTATIVE
AND ALTERNATE MEMBER TO THE WASTEWATER RECLAMATION
AUTHORITY (WRA) FINANCE COMMITTEE FOR 2026
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, according to the provisions of the 28E agreement the City of Waukee holds
with the Wastewater Reclamation Authority (WRA), the City must annually appoint or
reappoint representatives and alternates to the WRA Finance Committee; AND,
WHEREAS, for the calendar year 2026, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints Finance
Director Rachel Downing as the representative and City Administrator Brad Deets as the
alternate to the WRA Finance Committee;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 5th day of January, 2026, that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointments to
the Wastewater Reclamation Authority (WRA) Finance Committee.
