Agreement

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The agreement with Droppett allows Droppett to construct
a 10X24 shed for the purposes of bottle and can redemption within the
parking lot of the enclosed shelter in Centennial Park. This building is
portable and can be relocated or removed at any time. Droppett makes
redemption-based recycling easy, clean, and convenient for residents.
Droppett users can also give back to community organization by directing
deposit proceeds to a good cause, organization, school, or fundraiser within
our community. The closest Droppett location to Waukee is Urbandale and
Grimes. The agreement can be terminated by either party at any time by
giving the other party at least 30 days notice.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2026-
APPROVING DROPPETT LOCATION AGREEMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, Droppett will place a 10X24 foot temporary structure within the Centennial Park
Enclosed Shelter Parking lot for the purposes of redemption-based recycling; AND,
WHEREAS, Droppett makes redemption-based recycling easy, clean, and convenient for
residents.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Droppett Location Agreement is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 2nd day of February,
2026.
