AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting March 16, 2026, as the date of
public hearing on the vacation of a Gas Main Easement [HZB Enterprises,
LLC]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City has received a request to vacate an existing gas
main easement that was recorded and approved as part of the Vintage Estates
project. The new owner has requested to vacate the existing easement, and a
new easement area will be recorded when the property is replatted.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public
hearing date for March 16, 2026 to discuss the vacation of the existing
easement.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
