RESOLUTION 2026-101
APPROVING A BAND CONTRACT WITH THE SHEET FOR THE 2026
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION [WAUKEE PARKS & RECREATION
DEPARTMENT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee Parks & Recreation Department wishes to engage the
services of a band for entertainment at the 2026 Independence Day Celebration Event; AND,
WHEREAS, artist The Sheet has provided an agreement for such services at Waukee's 2026
Independence Day Celebration.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the
2026 Independence Day band agreement held on July 4, 2026 [Waukee Parks & Recreation
Department] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this 16th day of March
2026.
