AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of Change Order No. 2 to Wendler, Inc., f/k/a
WRH, Inc., for the Lift Station Nos. 4 & 6 Rehabilitation Project,
increasing the contract amount by $9,875.60.
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Change Order No. 2 is for extending additional
conduit and wiring from the standby power generator and submersible pumps to the control
building. Change Order No. 2 also extends the completion date of the project from April 30, 2026
to May 8, 2026.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The net result of this
Change Order increases the contract price in the amount of $9,875.60.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the change order.

LIFT STATION NO. 4 & 6 REHABILITATION
CHANGE ORDER NO. 2
Enclosed are three copies of Change Order No. 2 for the Lift Station Nos. 4 & 6 Rehabilitation
project. Change Order No 2 is for extending additional conduit and wiring from the standby
power generator and from the pumps to the control building. The existing relocated control
building has the wiring landing points at the opposite ends of the building from the generator
and the pumps. Change Order No. 2 increases the contract price by $9,875.60.
Change Order No. 2 also extends the completion date of the project from April 30, 2026 to
May 8, 2026.
We recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 by the City Council of the City of Waukee.
Please sign all copies of Change Order No. 2 in the spaces provided. Return one signed copy of
Change Order No. 2 to our office and one signed copy to Wendler, Inc.
