RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION
CONTRACTS FOR THE BID PACKAGES #02 TO #13 FOR
EXISTING FIRE/POLICE BUILDING RENOVATION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, STATE
OF IOWA:
Section 1. That the following bids for the construction of certain public improvements
described in general as the Bid Packages #02 to #13 for Existing Fire/Police Building Renovation,
described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council on April 6, 2026, be
and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest responsive, responsible bids received for such
work, as follows:
Contractor: DDVI, Inc., of Indianola, IA
Amount of bid: $1,105,000.00
Portion of project: Bid Package #02 — General Construction

Amount of bid: $507,000.00

Section 2. That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to execute the contracts with the
contractors for the construction of the public improvements, such contracts not to be binding on
the City until approved by this Council.
