THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2026-
APPROVING FY 2026 BUDGET AMENDMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is required to file an annual budget amendment, if
necessary, no later than May 31st of each fiscal year; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee’s proposed budget amendment for FY26 was published
in the Dallas County News on April 16th, 2026; AND,
WHEREAS, Finance Director Rachel Downing has reviewed the budget for FY26, and
proposed total revenue decrease of $187,769 and increased expenditures in the amount of
$1,539,296.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 20th day of April, 2026 that it hereby approves amending the FY2026 budget
as published.
