[Scott Wearmouth Living Trust; David Felt]
FORMAT:Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: An agreement between the City of Waukee and David
Felt for the 2026 growing season on the Scott Wearmouth Living Trust parcel for loss of crops in
the permanent and temporary easement due to construction activities associated with the 10th Street
Extension Project.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: Payment in the amount of
$5,000.00 to David Felt.
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff recommends approval of the resolution and crop
damage claim form.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2026-
APPROVING CROP DAMAGE CLAIM
[SCOTT WEARMOUTH LIVING TRUST; DAVID FELT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, this is an agreement between the City of Waukee and David Felt for loss of crops
in the permanent and temporary easement areas on the Scott Wearmouth Living Trust parcel;
AND,
WHEREAS, the damage is a direct result of the work performed as part of the 10th Street
Extension Project; AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee the Crop
Damage Claim [Scott Wearmouth Living Trust; David Felt] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 20th day of April,
2026.
