SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: S.M. Hentges & Sons Inc. requested Payment Estimate
No. 4 for the work completed on the West Area Trunk Sewer Extension – Phase 3 Project, in the
amount of $203,702.35. Veenstra & Kimm Inc., has reviewed the payment estimate and
recommends payment.
The partial payment is for the pay period March 6, 2026 to April 3, 2026. Work completed for
this pay estimate primarily for sewer installation.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $203,702.38

PAYMENT ESTIMATE NO. 4
Attached is a copy of Pay Estimate No. 4 in accordance with the contract between the City of Waukee
and S. M. Hentges & Sons Co. Inc. for the West Area Trunk Sewer Extension - Phase 3 Project. The
partial payment estimate is for the period March 6, 2026 through April 3, 2026.
Payment Estimate No. 4 is primarily for sewer installation. We have checked and recommend approval
of Payment Estimate No. 4. We recommended payment to S. M. Hentges & Sons Co. Inc. in the amount
of $203,702.38.
Please sign Pay Estimate No. 4 in the spaces provided. Please return one copy to Veenstra & Kimm, Inc.
and forward one copy to S. M. Hentges & Sons Co. Inc. with payment.
