AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting May 18, 2026, as the date of
public hearing on the vacation of a Public Storm Water Detention Easement
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City has received a request to vacate an existing
public storm water detention easement that was recorded and approved as part
of Parkside Proper Plat 1. The owner has requested to vacate the existing
easement, and a new easement area will be recorded when the property is
developed.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public
hearing date for May 18, 2026 to discuss the vacation of the existing
easement.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
