AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Temporary Construction
Easement for Adjoining Space between 410 6th Street and 420 6th Street
FORMAT:Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: To ensure the successful demolition and construction of
the city-owned building at 410 6th Street, we have obtained a temporary construction easement with the
adjoining property owner Steffaney Cronin. This will ensure that we can properly access space that
abuts our property, but also protect the building at 420 6th Street
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $1 paid to the building owner
Steffaney Cronin.

RESOLUTION 2026-
RESOLUTION ADOPTING TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT FOR
ADJOINING SPACE BETWEEN 410 6TH STREET AND 420 6TH STREET
[STEFFANEY CRONIN]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee intends to demolition and construct the city-owned
building at 410 6th Street; AND,
WHEREAS, the City wishes to have access to space adjoining our property and that of
420 6th Street; AND,
WHEREAS, the City wishes to take steps to protect the neighboring building during
construction and demolition; AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 4th day of May, 2026, that the temporary easement and terms are adopted and
the Mayor is authorized to execute the agreement.
