RESOLUTION 2026-
APPROVING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF A PUBLIC SANITARY SEWER
EASEMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City has previously approved a Public Sanitary Sewer Easement which exists
by virtue of the plat, Parkside Proper Plat 1, filed on March 1, 2023, and recorded in Book 2023,
Page 2519, and the easement document filed on March 1, 2023, recorded in Book 2023, Page
2522 (the “Easement”); AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Easement areas as described on attached Exhibit A
are no longer needed; AND,
WHEREAS, the property owner has requested that the Easement areas as described in attached
Exhibit A be vacated.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
18th day of May, 2026, that it hereby approves the vacation of the portions of the Public Sanitary
Sewer Easement.

COMMENCING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID LOT 1; THENCE SOUTH
