RESOLUTION 2026-183
APPROVING TEMPORARY PARKING ALONG SE BOOTH AVENUE FROM
SE L.A. GRANT PARKWAY EAST TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH SE DRUMLIN
DRIVE ON JULY 4, 2026, FOR THE CITY OF WAUKEE INDEPENDENCE DAY
CELEBRATION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, Waukee Parks and Recreation Department recommends the allowance of
temporary parking along SE Booth Drive on July 4, 2026, to create additional parking near
Centennial Park during the Independence Day Celebration.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
4th day of May, 2026, that it hereby approves temporary parking along SE Booth Avenue from
SE L.A. Grant Parkway east to its intersection with SE Drumlin Drive on July 4, 2026, between
the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. for the City of Waukee Independence Day Celebration.
