RESOLUTION 2026-184
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES
WITH VEENSTRA & KIMM, INC.
[2026/2027 ADA SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City desires to retain the consultant services of Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. for
the 2026-2027 ADA Sidewalk Improvements Project; AND,
WHEREAS, the scope of services includes replacement of sidewalks and pedestrian ramps
that are not in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibilities Guidelines
(ADAAG) and the Proposed Accessibility Guidelines for Pedestrian Facilities in the Public
Right -of -Way (PROWAG) and construction of new pedestrian ramps.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Professional Consulting Services between Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. and the City of
Waukee, Iowa [2026-2027 ADA Sidewalk Improvements Project] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 4th day of May, 2026.
