This change order is to include internal shelving within the lockers as well as the removal of existing carpet within a corridor and the former jail portion of the building. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:The proposed changes resulted in an increase of the contract in the amount of $9,045.85. This is an additional material only cost through DDVI.Design Contingency Item.Add:$7,426.10 CE #006 -RFI#2:Corridor 108C and Additional Jail Carpet Demo (DC):The demo plans do not call for demoing the existing carpet at corridor 108C per the markups included in the RFI,however,the finish plans call for this corridor to become sealed concrete.Design team confirmed carpet is to be removed at Corridor 108C in preparation for sealed concrete.The demo plans do not call for demoing the existing carpet back in the jail area,however,the plumbing plans call for concrete slab to be removed for capping existing plumbing lines.Design team confirmed carpet is to be removed prior to concrete cutting for plumbing work.This is additional work and will be tracked T&M via FWO through DDVI. Design Contingency Item.Add:$1,619.75 The original Contract Sum was $1,106,027.00 Net change by previously authorized Change Orders $0.00 The Contract Sum prior to this Change Order was $1,106,027.00 The Contract Sum will be increased by this Change Order in the amount of $9,045.85 The new Contract Sum including this Change Order will be $1,115,072.85 The Contract time will be unchanged by zero (0)days. The Contractor s Work shall be substantially complete on 12/14/2026. NOTE: This Change Order does not include adjustments to the Contract Sum or Guaranteed Maximum Price,or the Contract Time,that have been authorized by Construction Change Directive until the cost and time have been agreed upon by both the Owner and Contractor,in which case a Change Order is executed to supersede the Construction Change Directive.
