Description
THE CONTRACT IS CHANGED AS FOLLOWS:
Item 18A - "SANITARY SEWER G-MAIN, TRENCHED, 24 IN."; Decrease in the 24-inch sanitary sewer gravity main quantity. At the time of bidding, the future forebay and future lake layout was preliminary. However, prior to
installation, the design was refined and the sanitary sewer alignment was adjusted to avoid routing beneath the future forebay and lake, resulting in a reduced quantity.
Item 32A - "STORM SEWER, TRENCHED, RCP CLASS III, 60 IN."; Removal of the 60-inch Class III storm pipe. During submittal review, it was determined that the proposed installation depth exceeded the allowable limits for Class III
pipe per SUDAS requirements, necessitating the removal 60 inch Class III pipe.
Item 33A - "STORM SEWER, TRENCHED, RCP CLASS III, 72 IN."; Removal of the 72-inch Class III storm pipe. During submittal review, it was determined that the proposed installation depth exceeded the allowable limits for Class III
pipe per SUDAS requirements, necessitating the removal 72 inch Class III pipe.
Item 70A - "MANHOLE, SW-301,60 IN."; Increase in the number of 60-inch SW-301 manholes. Following refinement of the sanitary sewer alignment, improved pipe entry and exit angles were achieved at MH-2.12, allowing for the use
of a smaller manhole and resulting in the increase of one manhole from the original design.
Item 71A - "MANHOLE, SW-301, 72 IN."; Decrease in the number of 72-inch SW-301 manholes. Following refinement of the sanitary sewer alignment, improved pipe entry and exit angles were achieved at MH-2.12, allowing for the
use of a smaller manhole and resulting in the reduction of one manhole from the original design.
CO-1.1 - "ADDITIONAL SANITARY SEWER CLEARING, GRUBBING & SURVEY"; Addition of clearing, grubbing, and survey work resulting from the revised sanitary sewer alignment. The alignment adjustment required expansion of
construction limits to accommodate the revised layout, necessitating additional clearing, grubbing, and survey beyond the original scope.
CO-1.2 - "STORM SEWER, TRENCHED, RCP CLASS IV, 60 IN."; Addition of the 60-inch Class IV storm pipe. During submittal review, it was determined that the proposed installation depth exceeded the allowable limits for Class III
pipe per SUDAS requirements, necessitating the addition of Class IV 60-inch pipe.
CO-1.3 - "STORM SEWER, TRENCHED, RCP CLASS IV, 72 IN."; Addition of the 72-inch Class IV storm pipe. During submittal review, it was determined that the proposed installation depth exceeded the allowable limits for Class III
pipe per SUDAS requirements, necessitating the addition of Class IV 72-inch pipe.
CO-1.4 - "EROSION STONE"; Addition of erosion stone for construction of check dams. Erosion stone was added to the project to provide temporary erosion control measures in accordance with project needs and field conditions.
