AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving acceptance of public
sanitary sewer easement, public utility easement, public water main easement,
public storm sewer easement, gas main easement, and temporary construction
easement (Hubbell Realty Company)

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: A number of easements associated with the South Warrior
Lane extension project are required on property owned by Hubbell Realty
Company. The appropriate easement documents have been submitted and
reviewed by staff.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2026-
APPROVING ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT,
PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT, PUBLIC WATER MAIN EASEMENT, PUBLIC
STORM SEWER EASEMENT, GAS MAIN EASEMENT, AND TEMPORARY
CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT (HUBBELL REALTY COMPANY)
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain easements from Hubbell Realty Company are
necessary for the purpose of construction of improvements associated with the South Warrior
Lane Improvements Project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa,
that the following easements from Hubbell Realty Company are hereby accepted and approved:
1. Public Sanitary Sewer Easement;
2. Public Utility Easement;
3. Public Water Main Easement;
4. Public Storm Sewer Easement;
5. Gas Main Easement; and
6. Temporary Construction Easement
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 15th day of June,
2026.
