AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving acceptance of a public
utility easement (Kettlestone Lakes, LLC)

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: A public utility easement is necessary for the extension of
utilities within the Kettlestone Lakes development. The appropriate easement
document has been submitted and reviewed by staff.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2026-
APPROVING ACCEPTANCE OF A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
(KETTLESTONE LAKES, LLC)
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a public utility easement from Kettlestone Lakes, LLC,
is necessary for the purpose of construction of improvements associated with the Kettlestone
Lakes development.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa,
that the following easements from Kettlestone Lakes, LLC, is hereby accepted and approved:
1. Public Utility Easement
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 15th day of June,
2026.
