SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Board of Adjustment member Dan McAlpine is
unable to fulfill the remainder of his term, scheduled to expire January 31,
2029.

RESOLUTION 2026-
APPROVING MAYOR’S APPOINTMENT OF A CITIZEN MEMBER TO THE BOARD
OF ADJUSTMENT FOR AN UNEXPIRED TERM ENDING JANUARY 31, 2029
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, Board of Adjustment member Dan McAlpine is unable to fulfill the remainder of
his term, scheduled to expire January 31, 2029; AND,
WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints ____________ to fill the unexpired Board of
Adjustment term of Dan McAlpine.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
15th day of June, 2026, that the mayor’s appointment of ____________ to the Board of
Adjustment for an unexpired term ending January 31, 2029, is hereby approved.
