RESOLUTION 2026-252
APPROVING TEMPORARY USE PERMIT REQUEST AT 140 SE LAUREL
STREET [BOOM DADDY FIREWORKS]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, Boom Daddy Fireworks has signed a lease with Warrior Plaza, LLC, on
property located at 140 SE Laurel Street; AND,
WHEREAS, Boom Daddy Fireworks is requesting approval of a temporary use permit for
the sale of fireworks from June 23, 2026 through July 7, 2026.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 15th day of June, 2026, that it hereby approves the temporary use permit for 140 SE
Laurel Street for June 23, 2026 — July 7, 2026.
