SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The Heritage Hall Construction Project broke ground on May 26, 2026. Ball
Team has submitted their initial request for payment.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
The cost for services and supplies included on this application for payment is
$79,020.08 with $2,443.92 held as retainage on this project. Currently, the
total approved bid for this project is $1,434,999.00 with $1,355,978.92
remaining to be billed.

Demolition of an existing city building located at 410 6th St. Waukee, IA that is approximately 1,775 square feet as
well as the demolition of two outbuildings with the approximate square footage of 120 SF and 100 SF. A new
community center will be built in the same location and within a similar footprint to the old building. The new
community center is currently shown to be approximately 2,700 gross square feet and is one story.
