SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Parks and Recreation Board member Bruce Huckfeldt
is unable to fulfill the remainder of his term, scheduled to expire January
31, 2029.

RESOLUTION 2026-
APPROVING MAYOR’S APPOINTMENT OF A CITIZEN MEMBER TO THE
PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD FOR AN UNEXPIRED TERM ENDING
JANUARY 31, 2029
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation Board member Bruce Huckfeldt is unable to fulfill the
remainder of his term, scheduled to expire January 31, 2029; AND,
WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints _____________ to fill the unexpired Parks and
Recreation Board term of Bruce Huckfeldt.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
20th day of July, 2026, that the mayor’s appointment of _____________ to the Parks and
Recreation Board for an unexpired term ending January 31, 2029, is hereby approved.
