RESOLUTION 2020-082
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE TELBY LANE FROM SE L.A.
GRANT PARKWAY WEST TO SE GREENTREE DRIVE ON SUNDAY, APRIL 12,-
2020, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 6:00 A.M. AND 7:15 A.M.
[WAUKEE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, Waukee United Methodist Church requests the temporary closing of SE Telby
Lane from SE L.A. Grant Parkway west to SE Greentree Drive on Sunday, April 12, 2020,
between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. for the purpose of Easter Sunrise Services; AND,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Code of Iowa §364.12(2)(a), public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
23`d day of March, 2020, that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Telby Lane from
SE L.A. Grant Parkway west to SE Greentree Drive on Sunday, April 12, 2020, between the
hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. [Waukee United Methodist Church Easter Sunrise Service].
