RESOLUTION 2020-207
APPROVING QUOTE FOR DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURE — 205 ASHWORTH DRIVE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IO WA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee recently acquired the property located at 205 Ashworth Drive and has
determined that a structure needs to be removed; AND,
WHEREAS, City staff requested quotes for the demolition of the structure and restoration of the property;
AND,
WHEREAS, having reviewed the submitted quotes, City staff recommends awarding quote for demolition
services located at 205 Ashworth Drive to Elder Corporation of Des Moines, Iowa in the amount of
$22,900.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa that the
quotes for the structure demolition as noted above be accepted and approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 1st day of June, 2020.
